I CASED this layout from the last crop I attended, I think it turned out pretty good. I'm going to use this on my grandson's egg hunt pictures for this year. He's such a cutie, My son and him met me for lunch yesterday and he wanted to come home with me, so of course he did.
Have a great weekend, I know I will, going to Cadiz, KY for a crop, I'll see you there.

I'm working on a friendship album for my daughter for Christmas, I'm pretty sure she doesn't read my blog, but just in case, she did ask for it, and probably knows I'm working on it anyway. I have a few more things to make for Christmas, and it's really getting fun, trying to figure out what to make everyone, it makes it more personal. I've come up with an idea for next year for my kids, recipe books. All the recipes I've collected and make, especially their favorites, I only have 1 that is married and living on his own right now, so next year will be a good time to make this for them, maybe my two younger one's will be closer to moving out on their own.

My husband and I are finally getting some away time with each other, both of us have had our away times, but seperately and with two grown children living at home, alone time is few and far between. My husband booked a cruise for us on Thanksgiving week, we are going to Mexico, I love cruises, in honor of that, here is a new file I've uploaded in my store. I did cut the title out of grungeboard and inked it, you can see the close up pattern.

New Files

I feel like it's been so long since I've made any new files, and here they are as promised. You'll see a link to the side to a free file of a maple leaf which is shown in this 8"x8" Scrapbook page. I'm in love with the Mica/Metallics available at Paper Temptress, in this layout I used Cappuchino, Copper and White gold. Even in small intricate detailed files they cut like butter.

Here is a layout I did using the outhouse pumpkins and title from the Fall in the Country Collection now available at Paperthreads, you'll also get a oak fall leaf and several more titles and mats.

Play Ball Layout

I took a lot of pictures of Zachary playing with his ball in the yard, I hated not to use them all so I put a row of them along the bottom.

Stamping in my Scrapbook

I've been working on making cutting files and finishing up on my journaling, here is one that didn't need a title or journaling, isn't he cute. I used the pumpkin and leaf stamps from Stampin Up
thanks to my good friend Elaine and cut them out and then added them to my scrapbook page, I'm trying to use stamps more in my scrapbook pages. Elaine has a lot of cool ideas on her blog too,
Check it out.

Layout with dream catcher

I'm finishing up my vacation album, just have a few more pages to go, I've put a picture of my dream catcher paper peicing under this post so you can see it, this is my favorite paper peicing of this collection, I have 3 sets, Cherokee Indians, which includes the dream catcher and 20 other files, Smokey Mountains, which includes 29 titles and files, and In the Woods, which includes animals and trees, I'm working on them right now to offer at paperthreads, my questions is Should I start offering my files in SCAL, that's for Sure Cuts a Lot program for Cricut, I can go back and add SCAL to my other files on a request basis, and all new files would have SCAL included if I get enough requests, so let me know if you'd buy files from me in SCAL.

Snowflakes on the Edge

I've finished Snowflakes on the Edge and January on the Edge, here is a layout I've done with the Snowflakes on the Edge.

As the name describes this is were I put items that match the month on the edge of mats, circles, or just a design. The months of the year will all match so you can use them as a calendar, and I'll use the same font. I've also joined the design team at Paper Temptress and I got some of her Awesome Papers. I cut out the Snowflakes with her White Diamond cardstock and it cut beautifully, you can even see the sparkle of the paper in this photo. Her link is at the bottom of my blog if you want to see all her papers, I'll be posting more later.

Diana

I've posted the Morning Glories I finished, I also have the link on the left side so you can go straight to my website and order it if you'd like to. You should be able to check out and download the files as soon as it is paid. I really like this page, I'm going to use it as a "About Me" page, there are so few of pages with just me in them. I've been trying to do more pages with me in them and handing the camera to my kids or my husband so I'm not invisible. Also got the free file up a day early. I'm really on the ball, getting more organzied too.

Enjoy your free file,
Diana
