WINNER!!!

I put numbers 1-10 in a bowl and drew out #7, so the 7th poster wins, here is her message to me........Lisa said...
What a nice give-a-way! I personally love ALL your files and your blog. I would love to see a tutorial on how to make the offset titles ( like at Trace Creek). Also, would like to see more of your personal pages that you do for inspiration.

Lisa, please e-mail me personally (akadi14@aol.com) your mailing address so I can send you the Easter Bunny Collection I've cut out. I'm also going to work on a tutorial on how to make the titles she wants, it will be for KNK format, since that is what I design in. Check back soon.

I appreciated all your kind words and comments, and don't be afraid to post a comment whenever you think of something you'd like to see.

Coloring

I went to scrapbook with several of my friends in Nashville yesterday, and they were amazed at my coloring. I used prisma colored pencils, and colored in my images, and then I used a blending stump (you can get these in the art department) and Goo Gone (walmart) and used this to blend my colors together. I learned this from Melanie last year at Croptoberfest, since they were so impressed I thought I'd share this here. You do need to stamp your image with Staz-on ink, the ink will run when you apply the Goo Gone if you don't. The Goo Gone really makes the colors more vibrant and pop, and when you blend 2 colors together I think it gives you a Copic Marker look, with a lot less of a price tag.

Snowflakes on the Edge

I've finished Snowflakes on the Edge and January on the Edge, here is a layout I've done with the Snowflakes on the Edge.

As the name describes this is were I put items that match the month on the edge of mats, circles, or just a design. The months of the year will all match so you can use them as a calendar, and I'll use the same font. I've also joined the design team at Paper Temptress and I got some of her Awesome Papers. I cut out the Snowflakes with her White Diamond cardstock and it cut beautifully, you can even see the sparkle of the paper in this photo. Her link is at the bottom of my blog if you want to see all her papers, I'll be posting more later.

Free File today

Free File today and only a few more days, grab it while you can, I'll probably pull it after the weekend. Spread the word so your friends can grab the free file also. I'm designing a butterfly page, with those 2 butterflies, a circle of butterflies and a rectangle of butterflies, maybe that will be done over the weekend also. I'll work hard on it.

Trace Creek Crop

Twice a year Trace Creek Church ladies have a crop where 245 women attend, it is so much fun and I get a chance to see ladies from KY that I only see at this crop :waving to Lisa:, I taught a class on a waterfall card and a spinner card that went well. These are both moveable cards that I learned how to make just recently. I'll post my cards later today so you can see them. We drove home in the snow, the roads were clear, but it's hard to see when the headlights are being reflected in the falling snow, no snow on the roads, but we have about 1/2" on the grass today, I love to look at snow from the warmth of my house .

Have a great day,
Diana
