Busy Time of Year

Well, Christmas Day has come and gone and although we are still in the Christmas Season, most of the hustle and bustle is over with. I had a wonderful Christmas, I spent it with my new Grandson, he is just over a month old and is the sweetest thing. We took him and his family to my mothers house, this was the first time that side of the family saw him, and everyone took turns holding him. I created this layout for his first Christmas, and am going to offer all the files shown, plus a few more words like Merry Christmas, Christmas Baby, Our Christmas, Our First Christmas, Baby's Christmas. Check back later for the picture and the link to purchase the files.

TGIF

Today I worked for a long time fixing some things that have been bugging me on my website, I still have some work to do, but it's looking a little better. I wrote an article for next months paperthreads newsletter (see my link below to sign up for it) about embellishing overlays.
I converted some more files and uploaded them to my store
2 train overlays
4 bath overlays
3 teddy overlays

Can you tell I'm obsessing about babies? My new grand baby is 1 month old today, I'm hoping to get my work done and go over there and take some photo's of him and visit a while. Since his parents do not have a camera, I'm the self-appointed photographer. I'm done working for the day, time to visit my lil butterball turkey (he was born the day before thanksgiving and weighed 10 pounds) and then go to the movies with my darling husband.

Have a great weekend,
Diana

Working

Today I'm busy converting files and getting them zipped and placing them on my website. It is tedious work, but it is something that has to be done, I've asked a few designers to help me cut and embellish my files and they are doing a wonderful job, and also pushing me to get the stuff converted and put in the store. Here is one that I just got today, Jessica used wrinkled foil to back the cutouts with and used a dark hunters green as the front of the overlay. I'll include a link under the picture so it will take you to my store so you can order it. This file is $2.99 and I do have a minumum of $5.00 per order on my website, so be sure and buy something else.

I should have a few more posted later today if you want to check back, mostly baby file overlays, a train, dollhouse, bath and rubber ducky pages, and of course teddy bear, they turned out very cute!!!!

Heritage layout

I really want to share pictures everyday even if I don't have much to say, ok for those that know me,,quit laughing. I always have something to say, my father used to call me motor mouth, my husband rolls his eyes when my daughter is home because she is just like me, never shuts up. Today I decided to share a picture of a layout done by a friend of mine, Barbie, she used files from my heritage collection to make this and it turned out better than I could have imagined.
Way to go Barbie,

Today I played

I am working on a page for Baby's First Christmas, I've been thinking on how I want to do it, I love Basic Grey paper so I'm going to use fruitcake for it, I'm also going to put a tree with cut out ornaments on it from my Christmas Ornament collection, and maybe a couple of reindeer at the bottom of the tree. This page is going to be for my Grandson's first Christmas and will probably have to copy it a couple of times for other grandmother and for mother. Here is the files for the standing deer in ai, gsd, wpc and knk just click where it says "download file", check back and I'll tell you how to get the other deer files.

My first post

Do you know that I'm hopeless with the computer, I can usually figure stuff out, but it takes me hours and hours. I'm hoping this blog is not too much for me. I started it thinking it would be another outlet for showing new files I've made and showing embellished finished designs. I also would like to share some of my scrapbooking that I've done. I'm not an expert, I just know what I like and do it. I love, love to design in my programs for the cutters, that is my favorite thing to do, I get lost in that world.
