Here is another bear, I guess I can get going on them when I really try, I think I like this one the best. I used the bear and saying from Bountiful bears, and the border punch is from stampin up

OK, this one I kept simple and easy. I'll be making these with my card club to send to Iraq for the Soldiers to send back home.

Another Bear

Today's bear is using a retiform technique, put down 3 sides of sticky notes and sponge color into the design I used a oval for one of the sides of sticky notes and then stamped a bear in the center of it. Here is the supply list

Bountiful Bears

This week I'm concentrating on making items out of "Bountiful Bears" for a friend of mine that is having trouble using this stamp, I'm trying to do at least 3 projects for our stamp club. Here is the first one with instructions for making it




Dark Brown paper 4" x 5.5"
plaid paper 3.75" x 5.25"
off white cut with nestability label 20 2nd to largest die
leaving die on paper sponge memento rich cocoa
off white cut with nestability label 20 3rd to largest die
leaving die on paper sponge memento rich cocoa
Stamp Bear from Bountiful Bears on kraft with memento tuxedo black
Stemp saying "for someone "beary" special" on off white .75" x 2"
glue on 1" x 2.25" dark brown and pop dot

Another Sunflower

I wanted to participate in The Angel Company's Card a day in May, so I followed their sketch and made another sunflower card. I used a swatch of Emma paper and used the Sunshine Stamp set for the images, colored with colored pencil and blended with goo gone.

I got this Sunshine stamp set about a month ago, cut it apart and filed it, never once stamped it, so I got it out and decided to use it, I made about 7 cards, a couple were cased cards and these are 4 of mine.

This one I used the stamp as a background and made a tag out of one, very simple.

Used the same stamp and just decorated around it.

Inked the edges with burnt umber palette and used a Martha Stewart punch for the border

Used another border punch and my newest 2 1/4" scalloped punch 2" circle punch and dew drops.
