Fiskars Fun Day

This past weekend we went to a event hosted by Fiskars in Cave City, KY, we had 4 classes and lots of fun. We ended up with tons of paper and embellishments and I even got a Stamp Press, which I've been wanting so bad. Here are some pictures of the group I scrapbook with in Nashville, and of me in one of the classes.

Cards for Soldiers

My friend Elaine and I send cards to Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. They don't have much in their PX's and even though e-mail is widely available, it's so nice to get something tangible from a husband or father that is far away. My dad was in Korea and I still have the cards he personally sent to me, they were and are very precious to me. I'm doing a lot of Mother's Day, Father's Day etc., but I'm also making cards that would be appropriate to send back to their children, here is one sample I've made.

Wonderful Day

We appreciate our customers EVERY day, but the specials and free files are over. Thank you so much for your comments about my daisy border, if you missed it, I will have it available at Paperthreads in the next week or two along with corners, circle, half circle all using the daisies. Big Announcement in the Days to Come

Keep checking back on my blog, in the next week or two is a celebration you'll want to know about. I'm working on a Valentines layout right now, and also winter layouts, we did have snow here for about a day, and I got some pictures of my grandson in it, First Snow, I love all his first's, I'm very blessed they live in the same town and I get to see him whenever I want to.
I've been very busy organizing, doesn't it seem like we are always organizing something? In the coming weeks I'm going to share how I organize. I use several different peoples organizing techniques and combined the ones I like into my own style, so the more ideas I get the better I get at it, I hope you feel the same.

Working again

I'm back to work, I did break my tailbone, and was on painkillers for a while and am just now getting to where I can sit at my computer for any length of time.
