I'm back from vacation

It was absoulutely wonderful!!! It was supposed to rain and be cloudy the whole time, but I told my dear hubby it would not, sunshine was ordered, and delivered. I ate real mexican food (yummy) rode on a catamaran (party boat) went snorkeling and went to a beach party, it was loads of fun. I came back with a small sunburn, but it was worth it. I drank a margarita for each of you

ps I only have 2 entries for the sketch contest, remember winner gets $20 worth of files and 2nd place gets $10 worth.

How is your sketch layout coming, as of the time I left I had one entry, I'm hoping I have more by now, the contest details are below at the Titled Blog Sketch Contest. Here is my take on the sketch I made, I'll have the files ready when I get back from my vacation, hopefully right now I'm sitting on a Sunny Deck with a Margaritta in my hands, yummm.

Christmas Gifts

This year for Christmas I want to make all my gifts and have asked my family and friends to make anything they want to give to me. Not only is it the birth of our Lord, but it is also a time to give of yourself, like God gave us his Son. It's wonderful to make someone you love happy by giving them a gift that you've picked out for them, and they you know they wanted, but this year I wanted to go a little further. Not only is the economy tight, but I want to put more of myself into my gifts this year. I'll be sharing every Wendesday the gifts I've done for the week, so this week it's my husbands gift.

He is making his own wine in our basement and I'm going to fix him up a shelf area where he has all his wine making supplies. This is a light I'm going to give him to decorate that area.

New Moon starts today

As this is posting, I'm napping, I want to the first showing of "new moon" last night with my daughter, those of you that are twilight fans know what I'm talking about. I've made a page and some files, but since I've been packing and getting ready to go on vacation, I'll have to post it after we get back from our cruise. Since I'll be leaving this afternoon I'll still have posts magically appear on Monday and Wednesday, however, there is no way to get the free file to magically appear, so if I have time I'll try to post one for you either Friday or Saturday of next week. I took a picture of the page I did, files will be in the store after I get back.

Sketch Contest

Here is another contest I want to do. I love sketches of scrapbook pages, but don't see too many with 2 page layouts. I tend to do 2 pages of an event so the 2 pages match, using same papers, elements ect. I have a layout done with this sketch, my challenge to you is to make your own layout following the sketch, the elements can be poems, paper piecings, 3d elements, anything you'd use to connect to the pictures you use. Have fun, and send me a scan of your finished layouts, I'll have my husband and son pick out which they like best and you'll get $20.00 worth of whatever files you want to pick out. 2nd place gets $10.00 worth of files, also let me know if you'd be interested in being on my design team. Contest Deadline is 12-5-2009

Blog Candy Time

Since it's my Birthday tomorrow you get the presents, on Nov 30th I'll be drawing 2 winners, you'll be getting Christmas Poinsettia's collection or Christmas Tree Ornaments Collection, to start you off with your holiday cutting. These include files for SVG, AI, WPC, GSD and KNK which should cut on any cutter on the market as of now. You can get up to 4 entry's, if you become a follower or post on your blog, be sure to leave me a message telling me you did this. Or if someone tells me you refered them. I'm going to have my grandson pick the winners he's 2 so he can't read the names and cheat.

1 entry for leaving me a message with your e-mail address (so I can contact you if you win)
1 entry for becoming a follower
1 entry for posting on your blog about my blog candy giveaway
I entry if a friend said you (your e-mail address) refered them to the giveaway

Good Luck,
Diana
